6 times world and Olympic champion Khadshimourad Gatsalov from Russia joined Samen Sabzevar team.

2013 world bronze medalist at 74 kg Ali Shabanov from Belarus signed with Khune be Khune Babol.

Three times European champion Opan Sat from Russia joined Steel Azin and Olympic silver medalist Vladimir Khinchegashvili from Georgia penned contract with Samen Mashhad.

14 top wrestlers of the world compete at 2013/2014 Iran Pro League. Only World and Olympic medalists as well as Champions of continents are allowed to wrestle in Iran Pro League.

By decision of Iran freestyle coaching board, Iran national team members at 2013 world championships cannot compete in league.

Each can sign with three foreigners but two of them are allowed to compete in each team dual.
